Anthony Garcia

Bio

Anthony Garcia established himself in the Underground House Scene in the early 2000s after playing intensely for a few years in his hometown, El Paso, Texas, several cities in Mexico, and throughout New Mexico. Looking to expand his reach, he moved to San Antonio where he quickly became a fixture in the local & Austin house music scene.

In 2006 Anthony formed the Sun City Hustlers with his closest El Paso friend John Pridgen. From 2006-2012 Anthony & John dj’ed & released several original tracks and remixes on international labels such as: Tango, Blockhead, Kolour, Phobic, Flapjack, Greenhouse and several more.

After taking a brief hiatus, Anthony decided to go back to focusing on what he enjoyed the most, Dj’ing. Influenced by his hometown’s culture, proximity to Mexico, and frequent family visits to the West Coast, Anthony’s sound is eclectic and energetic. His style ranges from deep disco house to dirty Jackin’ beats.

Anthony has played alongside notable names such as: Mark Farina, Derrick Carter, Miguel Migs, DJ Heather, Natural Rhythm, Joey Youngman, Brett Johnson, Kaskade, Julius Papp, DJ Dan, and Sunshine Jones- just to name a few.

In late 2019 Anthony co-founded Primo House with his good friends Trey Garcia & Dorian Perez. They are a collective of house DJ’s who have been throwing parties in downtown San Antonio for the past year and have no intentions of slowing down, once we are able to get back to our daily scheduled programs.
